Germany's David Will and the veteran Mic Mac du Tillard (Cruising x Galoubet A) went all the way to the top in Saturday's CSI3* Abu Dhabi Grand Prix FEI World Cup.

The competition had 31 riders in it, and four of them produced double clear rounds. It was Will and the 17-year-old chestnut mare that were the fastest against the clock though stopping the time on 43.29 seconds. Puerto Rico's Maria Victoria Perez followed 0.40 behind aboard the 11-year-old Quitana 11 (Quick Star x Lucky Lionell), while third place went to Spain's Luis Jesus Escobar on the 14-year-old Pour le Poussage (Polytraum x Ladalco). The last double clear belonged to Jörg Naeve on the 8-year-old Benur du Romet (Balou du Rouet x Damour), who secured fourth place for Germany.
