Edwina Tops-Alexander took both the win and the third place in Friday's biggest class at CSI4*-W Al Rayyan, the 1.45m Longines Ranking class.

The competition counted 22 pairs, and five of them jumped clear with the fastest being the Australian rider stopping the clock at 72.51 seconds aboard Veronese Teamjoy (Toulon x Dollar Dela Pierre). Russia's Vladimir Tuganov followed in second place aboard Suspens Floreval (Clinton x Damiro) with a time of 74.13, while Tops-Alexander secured the third place on Inca Boy van't Vianahof (Diamant de Semilly x Cash) in 75.32 seconds.

Yesterday, Tops-Alexander was also in the ribbons as no. four in the 1.45m class but had to see herself beaten by Rakan Al Hasawi and Ali Al Khorafi – both flying the FEI flag – as well as Vladimir Tuganov.
