The spectators that managed to get up early on Friday morning in Gothenburg, got to see the home riders on top of the podium in the first class of the day – a 1.45 speed competition. Henrik von Eckermann and his relatively new ride, Little Lord 90 (Lasino x Calato) was by far the fastest combination and won with 1,58 seconds down to runners-up Malin Baryard-Johnsson and H&M Second Chance (Carland x White Clover). Placed third was another popular rider in Sweden, Marcus Ehning on the 11-year-old mare Cristy (Canturo x Landlord).
