Even though most of the leading riders were at Olympia in London this weekend – some of the stars competed at the CSI5* in La Coruna or the CSI4* in Frankfurt as well.
The 5* Grand Prix in La Coruna, Spain, was won by French legend Michel Robert and Kellemoi de Pepita – a twelve year old mare by Voltaire. They were clear in the jump-off with the time 41.90. Runner-up – over seven seconds behind – was Matt Williams on Urleven van de Helle. Leon Thijssen on in-form Tysen had the fastest time on 41.25, but with a pole down he had to settle for third place.

The Grand Prix class Sunday counted 37 riders and only seven clear rounds. The promising German rider Janne-Friedrike Meyer and Cellagon Lambrasco had the best round in the jump-off with the time 35.93. Dennis Lynch and Lantinus were right behind them with the time 36.56, and Ludger Beerbaum got in 3rd on Chaman at 38.40.
Meyer and Cellagon Lambrasco also got 7th in a 1.50 class on Saturday – won by Marcus Ehning and his wonderful eight year old Jewel’s Carat.
