The fantastic performances of Philippe Le Jeune and Vigo d’Arsouilles in Kentucky have really impressed the public. There is only a few weeks since Le Jeune was was named “Sportsman of the Year” in Belgium. This time it is the lovely Vigo that receives the honours.
The readers of the Belgian magazine “Landbouwleven” have voted Vigo “Horse of the Year”. The wonderful stallion will get his award at home soil during the show in Mechelen next week.
The award is most definitely well deserved and Vigo had some hard competition from McLain Ward’s Sapphire and Jos Lansink’s Valentina van’t Heike.
