Night Train. Photo by Jenny Abrahamsson. The small chestnut Night Train (Calvaro Z x Papillon Rouge) that has been very successful on the international circuit- first with the Irish rider Darragh Kerins and then last year with the Brazilian Rodrigo Pessoa - has a new rider in Flaminia Straumann from Switzerland. Flaminia and Night Train are competing at the German Classics in Hannover this weekend, and on Thursday they ended up in second place in a 1.40 meter class. Flaminia’s father Thomas Straumann owns horses like Lantinus and All Inclusive - that are both ridden by the Irish Denis Lynch, who is working in Switzerland for the family.·
