Fifteen countries have already qualified for the Furusiyya FEI Nations Cup Final in Barcelona. The final takes place at the end of September. The countries that so far have qualified are; France, Great Britain, the Netherlands, Ireland, Switzerland and Ukraine (from Europe Division 1), USA and Canada (from North America, Central America and Caribbean), Brazil and Colombia (from South America), Qatar and Saudi Arabia (from the Middle East), Japan and Australia (from Asia and Australia) and Egypt (from Africa). In addition to these fifteen Spain is prequalified as the organizing country.

Three spots in the final remain, and they will be filled by the three best teams from Europe division 2. There are two events left in this division; the Nations Cup in Gijon, Spain on Saturday and in Arezzo, Italy the week after. In Gijon Italy, Norway and Denmark are allowed to pick up points and in Arezzo Italy, Austria, Greece, Poland, Turkey and Sweden will fight for the last points. The tree first positions are at the moment held by Belgium, Sweden and Norway.
