A great day for Lopez in La Baule

René Lopez and Noblesse de Tess. Photo by PSV/Jean Morel. René Lopez hit his competitors hard when he took home two wins on the opening day in La Baule. The Colombian rider won the Trophy Ouest-France and the Trophy Conseil Général of the Loire-Atlantique.

The first class was won aboard Netscape du Mirador (Quidam de Revel x Rienza des Loups), and the pair were faster than French rider Frédéric Busquet on Bjussica T (Larino x Ussicat T) in second and the American rider Rich Fellers and Mcguinness (Cavalier x Farnagh) in third. Lopez also took home the last class of the day – a 145/150 Table A class with a jump off, this time aboard his top horse Noblesse de Tess (Cumano x Philadelphia). Nicolas Delmotte and Luccianno HN (Burgraaf x Away Pierreville) were placed second followed by Rich Fellers and Flexible (Cruising x Flex) in third.
