A man at the top in Paris

Rolf-Göran Bengtsson won the battle between the men and the women in Gucci by Gucci Challenge at Saturday evening in Paris. Ten men and ten women competed against each other and twelve of them were clear in the first round. One of the horses that went clear in the first round was Jewel´s Carat for Marcus Ehning. Carat's father is Quasimodo Vd Molendreef and the famous Classic Touch is the mother. Rolf and Quintero. Photo by Jenny Abrahamsson.

Rolf was one of the first to ride the second round, and managed to make a fast and clear round with the stallion Quintero La Silla (Quantum x Chamonix). That for sure put some pressure on the coming riders. Some of them managed to be faster, but got a pole with them on the way.

So it was a man who won the battle, but after him three women followed; Penelope Leprevost, Ellen Whitaker and Laura Kraut.

Our world champion Philippe Le Jeune with Vigo d'Arsouilles rode the class. Le Jeune had a microphone on, so he made comments about his round when he was riding. He ended up with eight faults, but a happy public as he gave them a lot of laughs.
