AFP's Jumping Trophy CSI2* Grand Prix to Hans-Thorben Rüder

Wednesday, 12 November 2014

Hans-Thorben Rüder won the AFP Jumping Trophy Grand Prix.Hans-Thorben Rüder won the AFP's Jumping Trophy CSI2* Grand Prix ahead of Hans-Jörn Ottens and Mike Patrick Leichle. The biggest competition of the show was endowed with 35.000 Euros, the winner was rewarded with a Citroen DS3 "so schick". Rüder owed the fastest clear round in the jump-off to his mare Orlanda (Julio Mariner x Caretino), which he took over eight years ago from his sister.

The competition startet in a perfect way for Rüder, because he was the first of 55 entries allowed in the ring, so he was able to warm up the sensitive Orlanda in peaceful surroundings. The mare thanked him with a clear round, and qualification for the jump-off.

A total of eleven riders made it to the jump-off, where six went clear again. Organizer and sponsor of the Grand Prix Andreas Fettchenhauer used the award ceremony to thank participants, spectators and the team of AFP's Jumping Trophy for the success of the tournament. Hans-Thorben Rüder mentioned the generous conditions at the Graf von Lindenau-Halle and promised to be back next year.
