Nations Cup rider Holger Hetzel and his team are putting the final touches to the organisation of the 10th Sport Horse Sales. On Wednesday 3 December 2014, 21 extraordinary young horses aged between four and eight will be auctioned off at the equestrian centre in Goch. "This is an exiting few days for us and we've all got butterflies because the event so close now, but everything's more or less in place," said the famous show jumper, enthusiastically.
"We're really looking forward to the auction. Every single one of the auction horses is impressive and we've had some very positive feedback from customers who have tried them out, which we're obviously delighted about."
Over the last few days the pretty village of Goch-Pfalzdorf has been undergoing its annual transformation into a rendezvous for international equestrian celebrities. Riders, sponsors and horse fans from around the globe will be travelling here to see this year's auction horses for themselves. There will be an endless coming and going of international professional, junior and amateur riders, all of them keen to try out the four-legged athletes.
Then the main event is scheduled for Wednesday 3 December 2014, when the select collection of horses is presented under the saddle for one last time at 5 p.m. before the auction begins at 9 p.m. and all the talented youngsters will change hands. European, world and Olympic champions have already confirmed their attendance, so it's going to be an unforgettable evening...
