No 7 Filly by Casall Ask - Clarimo Ask. Secure your favourite for top level sports. You may also take your pick from a range of highly sought-after Casall offspring.

27 and 28 September foal actions in Behrendorf and Elmshorn

The last weekend in September is traditionally under the banner of the Holsteiner auction foals. Many foals which have later become successful sport horses have changed hands at a Holsteiner auction ring, like for example Cognac Champblanc (Gerco Schröder/NL), City Banking (Andreas Brenner) or Cooper (Maurice und Rene Tebbel). This year about 90 pre-selected foals from top Holsteiner performance mare families will be knocked-down by auctioneer Uwe Heckmann on 27 September in Behrendorf and on 28 September at Elmshorn. They have demonstrated their correct structure and quality movement to the selection panel and all of them come with a clean bill of health.

No 16 Filly by Cascadello I - Corrado I. "We have succeeded in securing foals from top dam lines by highly interesting sires for the Behrendorf and Elmshorn auctions", Norbert Boley, managing director of the Elmshorn stallion and marketing department summed up the pre-selection tour. Casall (Ask) took centre stage on the international equestrian scene at the Caen WEG as he reached the top-4-final under Rolf-Göran Bengtsson. The Caretino stallion's status for being also one of the most sought-after sires has been confirmed not only by 16 foals accepted for the upcoming auctions, but also by successful breeding stock – champion mares as well as licensed stallions.

The Casall stallions Cascadello I and Casalito reached the final at the Warendorf Bundeschampionat this year and also stand out for their impressive offspring, like for example at the first R+V foal championship not long ago. Both young stallions are represented by several offspring at the auctions. Clarimo (Ask) also has interesting foals at Behrendorf and Elmshorn. The Clearway stallion with several FEI placings under Rolf-Göran Bengtsson under his belt has been frequently used by the breeders.

No 5 Colt by Casall Ask - Cassini I.Colman, sire of Catwalk (Robert Whitaker) and Cooper (Maurice und René Tebbel) and 30 licensed stallions as yet is represented by offspring in the auctions as are Contendro I, sire of Codex One, winner of the Aachen Grand Prix, or Connor, successful S level jumper and sire of the 2013 Holsteiner stallion licensing reserve champion Coruscant. But also the young Holsteiner stallions have stood out for their offspring at the pre-selection tour. Casall-Cassini I stallion Clarcon and Dinken by Diarado-Cassini I are represented by foals at the auctions, same as Mylord Carthago or Zirocco Blue, both of them highly successful on the international circuit.

The Behrendorf sale starts on 27 September at 3 o'clock with the presentation of the foals prior to Uwe Heckmann entering the auctioneer's rostrum at 5 o'clock. The Elmshorn presentation on 28 September kicks off at half past ten, whereas the auction is scheduled for 12 o'clock. Please find further information and videos of the foals on the Holsteiner Verband website: http://holsteiner-verband.de/front_content.php?idcat=17

Please note: Biddding by telephone is also an option.
