Albert Zoer and Sam on top in Hachenburg!

Albert Zoer from Holland and the 12 year old Sam (Sable Rose x Ahorn) were the fastest ones of the 19 horses that qualified for the jump-off in Saturday's 1.50 class in Hachenburg, Germany. Runner-up was the German rider Tobias Meyer on Lucrate Déau Grenou (Flipper DÉlle x Guillaume Tell) and another German rider - Hans-Dieter Dreher on Embassy II (Escudo I x Silvio I) was third.

Philipp Weishaupt and the nine year old stallion Monte Bellini (Montender x Ramiro) were also qualified for the jump-off, but Philipp decided not to start. Monte Bellini was unbeatable as a young horse, and won the prestigious Bundeschampionat (the German championship for young horses) both as a 5 and as 6 year old.  

It became a total mix of countries in the prizelist; riders from Germany, Netherlands, Sweden, USA, Switzerland, Mexico, Denmark, Ukraine and Belgium were all in the money.
