Patrice Delaveau taking a moment for himself, leaning against his horse Orient Express HDC during the top four final in Normandy last weekend as Jeroen Dubbeldam enters the ring with the last horse to decide who wins the gold. Photos by Jenny Abrahamsson.

Beezie Madden on Jeroen Dubbeldam's horse Zenith SFN in her last round. The riders and horses every move was followed by cameras. Here is Beezie Madden and Jeroen Dubbeldam in the spotlight. Cortes 'C' taking a moment to relax in between the rounds... ...before Jeroen Dubbeldam makes him ready to jump. American Chef d'Equipe Robert Ridland and the Maddens watching.   Rike and Celia with Casall Ask. Cortes 'C' and Clark. Orient Express HDC says hello to Henk Nooren. Patrice Delaveau greets the crowds as they celebrate his clear round on Zenith SFN. Jeroen Dubbeldam gets ready for his last round on Casall Ask. And Patrice Delaveau could do nothing but wait and see... ...and it was quite an agonizing wait for Delaveau as the silver and gold was to be decided. In the end Patrice had to watch as the Dutch celebrated another gold. It was maybe a bit hard to swallow... ...but it was far worse for Rolf-Göran Bengtsson who finished outside the medals as number four.
