Amy Graham took another win at the CSI4* event in Salzburg on Saturday, riding Bella Baloubet to the top in the Gaston Glock's Championat. The entire ring in Salzburg was fitted to the sponsor of the class, with specially designed fences, flower arrangements, own composed music and more – which gave the competition an extra dimension. 41 riders were entered for the 1.55 class, which in the end saw five riders moving on to compete against the clock.
Amy, who also won the first Grand Prix qualifier of the show, gave everything on Bella Baloubet (Baloubet du Rouet x Landadel) and used his powerful canter to cross the finish line on a phenomenal time of 37.85 seconds to win. "I am so proud of my horse. He is always constant and it gives me such a pleasure to be here," said Amy following her win. Jessica Mendoza, who has been on brilliant form in Salzburg, ended second on Spirit T (Tornado x Carnaval Drum) with a clear jump-off in 38.54 seconds. Third went to Marc Houtzager and the only 8-year-old gelding Baccarat (Padinus x Silvio I) with another clear round in 39.55 seconds.
