Andreas Kreutzer won his first international Grand Prix!

Andreas Kreutzer and Chacco-Blue - here in Aachen. Photo by Jenny Abrahamsson. The young German rider Andreas Kreutzer, that works for Stall Schockemöhle, won his first international Grand Prix ever at the 3* show in Neumünster. As start number 7 in the jump-off Andreas rode the first clear round and kept the lead to the end of the class. The win came together with Chacco-Blue (by Chambertin), the same horse that Andreas also got the third place with in Aachen Grand Prix this summer.

Thirteen riders made it to the jump-off and Hans-Thorben Rüder with Orlanda (Julio Mariner xx x Caretino) was the first to go. Hans-Thorben produced a really fast round but had one down in the combination that caused so many problems in the first round. Next to go was Björn Nagel with Quickdiamond and he did a really nice jump-off and was clear all the way to the last fence. And the faults kept coming for the next riders. Albert Zoer with Sam (Sable Rose x Ahorn) had two down, Heiko Schmidt with Levistus (Levisto Z x San Juan) had one down as well as Rolf Moormann with Acorte (Acorado x Stakkato).

Then Andreas Kreutzer entered the ring and did what so far had seemed to be impossible – a clear round. Sören Pedersen with Tailormade Esperanza de Rebel did the same, but with a time that was almost six seconds slower than that of Andreas.

Marcus Ehning and Copin van de Broy are looking really good together but this time they didn´t have luck on their side; the last oxer fell. Verdi and Pius Schwizer had a bumpy jump-off, some fantastic's jumps and some bad ones – the result was 8 faults.

Three left; Carsten-Otto Nagel was very pleased when he entered the finish line after a clear round with Cazaro (Cambertin x Athlet Z), but he couldn´t do anything about Andreas' time. Ludger Beerbaum tried and was clear with Chiara (Contender x Coronado) but slightly slower than the leading time.

Last to go was Gerco Schröder with the well jumping Eurocommerce California (Corland x Ramiro). He was faster, but with one down he had to settle with the sixth place.

"I had the luck to get a really good jump-off today and I am very happy with this win. I haven´t had any good flow during the last weeks so I really didn´t expect this. But Chacco-Blue felt amazing in the first round so I went for it in the jump-off and it paid off. It is a privilege to be able to ride such a fantastic horse as Chacco-Blue and I am very grateful for that," Andreas Kreutzer says to NDR after the win.
