Jur Vrieling and Zirocco Blue Vdl (Mr Blue x Voltaire) were victorious in the Grand Prix in Copenhagen Sunday after two clear rounds. Zirocco Blue made his first Nations Cup appearance on Friday where he was double clear and today the nine year old stallion once again proved his quality. Thomas Ryan and Cruise on Clover (Cruising x Clover Hill) was the other clear combination in Bernstorffsparken with Willem Greve and Carambole (Cassini I x Concerto II) in third place with one time penalty.
The second round had 12 horses competing for the victory. Home rider Andreas Schou and Vivaldi K (Indoctro x Nimmerdor) were almost able to give the spectators full value for money as they by far had the fastest round of the day, nearly five seconds ahead of the winner. Unfortunately one pole fell and Andreas and Vivaldi had to settle for sixth place.
