Anthony Condon and Special Lux claim the Talent Seekers win at HOYS

Billy Twomey might have a potential star in his eight year old gelding Special Lux (Lux Z x Coille Mor Hill) that won the 1.40 Addington Manor Talent Seekers class including the 7 year old Championship at the Horse of the Year Show (HOYS) in Birmingham yesterday. Special Lux was ridden by the talented Anthony Condon whose former boss is Billy. "He's a fantastic animal who always gives 110%," Anthony said after his round. "I am competing in the international classes here later on in the week, so this was great start. I'm aiming to jump him in the Leading Show Jumper of the Year on Sunday."

 

Runner-up to Anthony was Holly Gillot riding Dougie Douglas, who gained a bonus of £1,000, kindly donated by Brightwells, for claiming the national 7 Year Old title as the highest placed horse of that age in the competition.
