After a 10 horse jump-off, Swiss rider Arthur Da Silva won the first qualifier for Sunday's Grand Prix in Vichy riding Qui Vive de la Tour. Da Silva had one of seven double clears in the class, and with a time of 39.63 in the jump-off he ended on top. "I have been riding her for a year," Arthur said. "She has jumped the big classes this year and we have had good results; we were third in the Grand Prix of Linz in Austria, and seventh in a Grand Prix qualifier for the Swiss Championships. Today, we chose to put her in this class and here we are!"
Michel Hécart finished 59/100 slower than Arthur, riding his excellent Piman de la Deviniere - ending in second while Simone Wettstein was third on Clipmyhorse Cash and Go with a time of 40.82 seconds. Then followed no less than four French riders in the next places, making it a good day for France on home soil.
On Sunday, starting at 2:45pm, you'll be able to watch the Grand Prix of Vichy live (1,55m - €34,000) on www.csi-vichy.com.
