As Cold as Ice Z is injured

Wednesday, 24 August 2011

Judy-Ann Melchior's horse As Cold as Ice Z got injured last weekend in Hachenburg. Here's the couple in the final of the medium tour. Photo by Jenny Abrahamsson.

Judy-Ann Melchior's lovely big mare As Cold as Ice Z got injured in Hachenburg last weekend, and will be out of the sport for a couple of weeks. This means that the mare will miss out on both the Nations Cup in Rotterdam this weekend, as well as the Europeans in Madrid in September. Melchior's non-presence on the Belgian team is of course a huge blow for them, as they are fighting against relegation from the Top League.

The Belgian team on Friday will consist of; Philippe Le Jeune with Vigo Arsouilles, Jos Lansink with Valentina van't Heike, Gregory Wathelet with Copin vd Broy, Nicola Philippaerts with Z Carlos VHP and Dirk Demeersman with Bufero Panishof vh.
