Basel Grand Prix in pictures!

Monday, 16 January 2012

Bosty gave his all in the jump-off, and here he is on his way to the last fence in an unbelivable speed! All photos by Jenny Abrahamsson.

We love her! Can someone please tell Valentina that the fences actually are 1,60 so she doesn´t have to make them look like 1,10...Hansueli Sprunger fell off after the triple bar, but laughed on his way out. The last pole of the triple bar was, according to some riders that measured it, only 11 meters away from the wall. That is not much space after such a big fence.!Itot du Chateau was smaller than the fences he jumped over in this Grand Prix but he still did it so easy.Eurocommerce California impressed a lot!Janika Sprunger and Uptown Boy actually managed to land after this fence without having the fence down.Jeroen Dubbeldam and Quality Time TN on their way to the triple combination. The cutest: Both Winningmood and Luciana were very pleased after their first round.Father and son walking the course; Eric and Maikel van der Vleuten.Martin Fuchs and Lalik had some trouble with the distance to the triple combination so the first fence fell.Is Viking Michael Whitaker's next superstar?Werner Muff and Kiamon stretching over the oxer.
