Friday, 12 December 2014

Ludger Beerbaum and Leonidas 100 won Friday's speed class in Geneva. Photo by Jenny Abrahamsson.Ludger Beerbaum was the best in Friday's 1.45 speed class Prix des Communes Genevoises in Geneva. Riding Leonidas 100 (Lenardo x Silvio I), the German maestro came in early on in this 54 rider class to take the lead with a clear and fast round stopping the clock on 52.81 seconds. Towards the very end of the class Ireland's Cameron Hanley came very close to beating Beerbaum though, as he was just 0.09 seconds behind on the clock aboard Caretina de Joter (Caretino x Contender). Simon Delestre finished third on Stardust Quinhon (Calvaro x Cabdula Du Tillard) with the time of 53.32 seconds.
