Behind the scenes at the Furusiyya FEI Nations Cup in Falsterbo - part three

Sunday, 13 July 2014

Cassio Rivetti and his team did not have the best day at work, and ended last after it fell apart in the second round. Photos by Jenny Abrahamsson.

Final touches for Robert Whitaker and Catwalk IV. Joe Clee and Spencer Roe continued to produce clear rounds for Great Britain. The winning Chef d'Equipe Otto Becker. Oleg Krasyuk leaves the ring on Quinlan 2. Olivier Philippaerts could watch ringside as Belgium has no team in Falsterbo. Patrick Stühlmeyer's Lacan 2 gets some well deserved candy after being clear in the first round and having a rail in the second - helping Germany to win. After two rails down in the first round, home hero Rolf-Göran Bengtsson kept his cool in the second round on Unita Ask to be clear - contributing to Sweden's second place. Kathi Offel and Cassio Rivetti were the only two riders on the Ukrainian team that managed to produce a clear round - but in round two they had no luck. Achaz von Buchwaldt was pleased with Pius being clear in the second round.  Pius Schwizer was all smiles after being clear in the second round on Toulago.  Katrin Eckermann and Firth of Lorne is met by a huge German crowd following their clear in the second round. Brianne Goutal did everything right and was double clear on Nice de Prissey - securing third for the US team that tied with Spain. Watch and learn: The clear round machine that is Sergio Alvarez Moya and Zipper! Happy Swedish faces as the second place is secured!
