Maher – winner of the team gold and the individual silver at the European Championships in Herning in August – has jumped from rank 19 and to the top after amazing results in August! Beezie Madden follows as rank two – the same position she had last month – while Marcus Ehning is the new number three after being ranked five last month.

Christian Ahlmann – who has been on top of the ranking since December – has now been pushed down to rank four. Gerco Schröder is down one rank to number five, while European Champion Roger Yves Bost is up from rank nine to six. Steve Guerdat remains as rank seven, while Kevin Staut is down from rank three to eight. Team gold medalist and individual bronze medalist from Herning, Scott Brash, jumps from rank 25 to rank nine this month. Ludger Beerbaum is back in the Top 10 as rank ten, while Edwina Tops-Alexander, Kent Farrington and Luciana Diniz all have been pushed out.

Germany thus has three riders in the Top 10, Great Britain and France two.
