Big Star still on top of the FEI WBFSH World Ranking List

Big Star; currently the best horse in the world. Photo by Jenny Abrahamsson.Big Star (Quick Star X Nimmerdor) tops the FEI WBFSH World Ranking List for another month. On the latest ranking Nick Skelton’s amazing stallion is followed by Reed Kessler’s super star Cylana (Skippy II x Darco), who has jumped from rank seven to two. Third is Silvana HDC (Corland x Widor), who was rank two on last month’s ranking. Chaman (Baloubet du Rouet x I Love You) has also dropped one place down to rank four, while Castle Forbes Myrtille Paulois (Dollar du Murier x Grand Veneur) remains as rank five.

Among the studbooks, KWPN still dominates with Big Star (1), Silvana HDC (3) and Chaman (4) as their best ambassadors in addition to Sterrehof’s Tamino (Numero Uno x Farmer, Landsdowne (Guidam x Wolfgang) and Simon (Mr. Blue x Polydox). The Holsteiner Verband is up from rank three to rank two with Cristallo (Caretino x Cicero) as their best ambassador, and BWP up from rank four to three with Cylana (2) as their best horse.
