Björn Nagel will compete for Germany again

Thursday, 25 October 2012

Björn Nagel will no longer compete for Ukraine. Photo by Jenny Abrahamsson. The last six years Björn Nagel has been competing for Ukraine and has been riding the European Championship, the World Championship and the Olympic Games for the country. But since the 23 of October Björn is once again competing for Germany.

"I had some really interesting years with the Team of Alexander Onyschenko and we didn't go separate ways because of a fight. But now I have new goals and have made some other priorities," Björn Nagel states in a press release.

Björn can compete at international shows for Germany straight away, but a rule from the FEI makes it impossible for him to compete in any FEI Rolex World Cup qualifiers, Nations Cups or championships for Germany the next two years.
