Saturday’s two speed classes in Bordeaux were won by France’s Roger Yves Bost and Great Britain’s Guy Williams. Williams opened his day with a win in the 1.45 table A against the clock – riding the super quick 10 year old Zaire (Indoctro x Marlon) that is turning into a real ribbon collector for the British rider. Guy was over a second faster than runner-up Edwina Tops-Alexander on a very well jumping Lintea Tequila (Campbell x Corrado II). Third was Steve Guerdat on Sidney VIII (Carry x Quidamderevel), who was just a few fractions slower than Edwina.
Roger Yves Bost took an extremely popular home win in the second speed class – also a 1.45 but this time around a table C competition. Coming in midway in the competition, Bosty took firm control of the class after a trademark fast round with tight turns everywhere aboard the sixteen year old Castle Forbes Vivaldo vh Costervelds (Clinton Randel Z) to slot in on 60.61 seconds, pushing yesterday’s speed class winner Robert Vos on Carat (Cardento x Krevad) down to runner-up position on the time of 61.13. Third was Williams, this time riding Casper de Muze (Triomphe de Muze x Corsaire de Vauban) – who was over a second behind Bosty.
