Roger Yves Bost and Castle Forbes Vivaldo vh Costervelds (Clinton x Randel Z) were yet again unbeatable in Bordeaux – winning Sunday’s 1.50 speed class. It was the pair’s second win in two days – they also ended on top in yesterday’s 1.45 class. Bosty came in as ninth to go, and went all in from the beginning around the track that counted a joker option at the final challenge. With incredible turns everywhere, and not pulling back once – also doing seven strides on the last line were most riders went on eight or nine – the popular French rider took home the win with a full score and a time of 43.07.
Closest to Bosty came Pius Schwizer on the Arc de Triomphe- mare Rafael des Forets, also with a full score but over two seconds behind Bosty. Edwina Tops-Alexander had another great class on the lovely Lintea Tequila (Campbell x Corrado II), and jumped to third on the time of 45.70 – 0.30 seconds behind the Swiss runner-up.
