Broken leg for Guerdat

Friday, 15 February 2013

Steve rode Bordeaux's World Cup with a broken leg. Photo by Jenny Abrahamsson.Steve Guerdat got injured in Bordeaux last weekend, after a horse kicked and hit his knee. After a visit to the hospital Guerdat decided to ride the Rolex FEI World Cup on Saturday despite the pain. But on Sunday he declined from the Grand Prix, and that with good reason as a new visit to the hospital revealed that Steve's leg was broken. In addition a knee hematoma was discovered as well as injured ligaments. Nevertheless Steve hopes to be back in the saddle soon.

We wish Steve a speedy recovery!
