All seats have been sold out for the Budapest Grand Prix, in which 52 riders competed for the total offered prize money of €27.000. Austria’s Stefan Eder won the first place after a spectacular jump-off with Chilli van Dijk. French rider Caroline Nicolas came in second place ahead of the two-time Olympian, Anton Martin Bauer from Austria. The Hungarian riders finished in the middle but László Tóth managed to secure himself the title of the most successful Hungarian rider with only four penalties. At the prize giving ceremony the riders were congratulated by Vilmos Lázár, president of the Hungarian Equestrian Federation and Gabriella Somogyi, representing the Paár family, whose generous offer helped create the current world class outdoor arena.
