Casall La Silla tops FEI WBFSH jumping ranking

Wednesday, 25 April 2012

Casall La Silla. Photo by Jenny Abrahamsson. The FEI WBFSH jumping rankings for March have been released, and it’s Casall La Silla (Caretino x Lavall I) that tops the ranking for jumping horses. The rankings include results from 1.10.2011 to 31.3.2012, and with 808 points the 13 year old Holsteiner stallion is number one. Another Caretino-son follows as number two; Richard Spooner’s Holsteiner partner Cristallo – whose dam’s sire is Cicero. The Selle Francais-gelding Mister Davier (Quiniou x Le Prince de Thurin) is number three, while Marcus Ehning’s ride Sabrina (Sandro Boy x Landadel) is number four.

It comes as no surprise that the Holsteiner Verband is number one on the ranking for jumping studbooks. Casall La Silla, Cristallo, Carlo 273, Carlina, Clip My Horse Cash and Go and Kalinka MNM are the studbook’s best representatives. The Selle Francais studbook is rank two, with Mister Davier, Nino des Buissonnets and Ornella Mail *HDC as their three best horses. Rank three is KWPN, and rank four is BWP.
