Ben Maher's top horse Cella performed tremendously in 2013, and now the BWP studbook has awarded her breeder Marc Kluskens. The BWP-KBC award is presented annually to someone who has contributed to the equestrian sport and breeding. Born in June 2002 Marc's filly was named Centoia van't Roosakker, and she went on to become one of the world's best horses under the name Cella.
In 2013 Cella (Cento x Chin Chin) and Ben ended up as the best combination in showjumping on the official FEI list, and the pair was on the European gold medal British team as well as claiming individual silver – to mention some. The van't Roosakker is a well-known name within the sport, and many famous horses come from Marc Kluskens' stud including Maikel van der Vleuten's Eureka and Jos Lansink's Electra.
