Change of date Dutch Sport Horse Sales and Limburger Foal Auction

The organization of the Dutch Sport Horse Auction Sales and Limburger Foal Auction both have decided to move their event with one day. The presentation of the Dutch Sport Horse Sales will now take place on Monday October 1st, the Dutch Sport Horse Sales will be held on Tuesday, October 2nd. The Limburger Foal Auction will be held on Wednesday, October 3rd. This year, the ninth edition of this prestigious auction of young horses, the Dutch Sport Horse Sales, which takes place in Weert. This is an initiative of equestrian entrepreneurs Paul and Emile Hendrix, Yves Houtackers and Neil Jones.

Yves Houtackers explains why they have decided to change the date: "Initially it was planned for October the 2nd, 3rd and 4th. But since the world championship for young horses in Lanaken ends on Sunday, we rescheduled the auctions so that potential buyers can drive directly to Weert. Later that week the Horse of the Year Show in Birmingham will take place. With these final dates, our English customers can join our auction as well as the influential event in Birmingham. This way we hope to serve all our foreign clients" said the rider that is located in Weert.
