The Charles Owen International Riders Lounge. It's already a new year and the start of the 2013 FTI Consulting Winter Equestrian Festival is here. Charles Owen is delighted to announce that it will return for its third year as the Official Helmet of the WEF and will again sponsor the extremely popular International Riders Lounge. Conveniently located just outside the ingate to the International Arena and adjacent to the main schooling area, the International Rider Lounge is perfectly situated for a bit of relaxation for riders moving between the schooling and competition arenas.

This lounge offers riders a large, comfortable area to relax before or after a class, watch a schooling session or simply unwind between rounds. The International Rider Lounge features refreshments and snacks for riders, including the impressive Nespresso coffee brand, complimentary to those who visit the lounge.

Roy Burek & Nick Skelton enjoy a coffee in the International Riders Lounge. In addition to the International Rider Lounge, Charles Owen also sponsors the Low Amateur/Owner Jumper Division for the entire circuit. This division culminates each Sunday with the Amateur/Owner Jumper Classic and the presentation of a Charles Owen helmet to the Division Champion. The FTI Consulting Winter Equestrian Festival (WEF) is the world's largest and longest running equestrian competition. The 12-week long series of horse shows features riders and horses as small as leadline ponies and children, all the way through the ranks to the top gold medal winning Olympic riders. Running from January 9 through March 31, WEF awards over $6 million dollars in prize money and hosts 5,000 horses and 2,800 riders from 50 states and 31 countries.

"Charles Owen is thrilled to offer the International Rider Lounge again this year. We envisioned this space to be an open, relaxing space where riders can stop for a coffee or a sit down," said Roy Burek, Managing Director of Charles Owen. "We are pleased to continue our partnership with such a world class horse show and to support the riders that participate at this level."
