Citizenguard Cadjanine Z goes to the World Equestrian Games with new rider

Thursday, 21 August 2014

Photo by Jenny Abrahamsson.Regardless of making his show debut with the horse this week, Amre Saber Hamcho takes Citizenguard Cadjanine Z to the Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games. The 12 year old mare is usually seen under Constant van Paesschen, but this week Cadjanine Z can be seen at the CSI3* show in Verbier under the Syrian rider. Van Paesschen himself has been named as second reserve for the Belgian team with Citizenguard Toscan de Sainte Hermelle, a decision that has been challenged legally by the rider and his horse owner.

Van Paesschen took over the ride on Cadjanine Z in April this year, after the mare had been competed by Rodrigo Pessoa for under one year. Pessoa took over the ride from Gregory Wathelet who competed Cadjanine Z at the Olympic Games in 2012.

To Grand Prix Replay, Stanny van Paesschen – Constant's father – explains that the plan for the mare is to return to Constant after the Games.
