Close races, fast rides and the first Diamond Tour in Magna Racino

Thursday, 26 April 2012

Andrew Ramsey and Chocola Z. © Hervé Bonnaud- www.1clicphoto.com & Tomas Holcbecher - www.holcbecher.com.During day two of the Magna Racino jumping tour the American rider Andrew Ramsey could not be beaten in the Diamond Tour. Stefan Wirth’s course was selective and demanding. Not only the height of the fences at 1.60 m provoked error, the technical difficulties did as well. Andrew Ramsay experienced little problems though; both Ramsay and his horse seem to like it in Magna Racino. The Zangersheide-bred Chocola Z was fast and faultless, and galloped to the victory at 26.30 seconds. Daniele da Rios was second on Urselien after a speedy and accurate round in the jump-off, while Tobias Meyer was third on Pour le Poussage.

The young horses went into the second round today, where the five year old Baraka under Gyula Szuhai (HUN), the six year old Sportsmann 12 under Herbert Bernd (GER) and the seven year old Butterfly Tibri Z under Andy Witzemann (GER) took home the victories. The Bronze Tour went to Sabrina Berger (GER) on Casalita, the Gold Tour to Frederico Ciriesi (ITA) and Tobias Meyer (GER).
