Dakota goes to Abdel Said – Vingino to Said's supporter Mr. Mansour

Tuesday, 08 April 2014

Abdel gets the ride on Dakota. Photo by Jenny Abrahamsson. It will be Egypt's Abdel Said who gets to ride Dakota (Cento Lano x Intermezzo) in the future. Together with Vingino (Voltaire x Cassini I) the two horses were bought by Said's supporter and friend Mr. Mansour during the Eurocommerce auction, and Mr. Mansour plans to ride Vingino himself. "I am very grateful for Mr. Mansour's support, he is a man I can always count on," Said says to World of Showjumping. "Mr. Mansour is not only a great supporter for me, but also for Egyptian showjumping in general. It is incredible to get a horse of Dakota's caliber in the stable, and I look forward to start competing her."

Both horses have been competed by former Eurocommerce stable jockey Annelies Vorsselmans, but during the last months it has been Wout-Jan van der Schans who has been in Vingino's saddle – picking up some good results.
