David Will and Pokerface take another win in Basel

Saturday, 11 January 2014

David Will was all smiles after yet another win on his new ride Pokerface. Photo by World of Showjumping. The brand new combination of David Will and Pokerface (Couleur-Rubin x Baloubet du Rouet) made it their second win for the weekend, when taking home Saturday’s 1.45 speed class in Basel. The super talented German rider also won Thursday’s 1.40 class on the 10 year old gelding, on whom he has only had the ride for a little over a week. It’s been a great show for Will so far, who also was second in yesterday’s 1.55 class.

In second came Jur Vrieling riding Tum-Tum (Haarlem x Contango), 0.49 seconds behind David. Then followed an armada of home riders as Pius Schwizer ended third, Romain Duguet fourth, Steve Guerdat fifth, Martin Fuchs sixth and Janinka Sprunger seventh.
