Delaveau does it again at the Longines Los Angeles Masters

Sunday, 28 September 2014

Patrice Delaveau won Saturday's FOX Sports Trophy on Carinjo HDC. Photo by (c) Tiffany Van Halle.Patrice Delaveau took his second win for the weekend at the Longines Los Angeles Masters, when he piloted Carinjo HDC (Cascavelle x Landgraf I) to victory in Saturday's 1.50 FOX Sports Trophy. The French rider always seems to be in winning mood at the Masters Grand Slam events, and it has been no different in Los Angeles. As in Thursday's speed class, Ireland's Darragh Kenny and Chin Quidam VDL (Chin Chin x Quidam de Revel) finished second behind Delaveau.

A little over a second separated the top two riders in the jump-off, where both produced clear rounds yet again. Third place went to Switzerland's Janika Sprunger on JL's Komparse (Kolibri x Kronenkranich xx), also she double clear but almost 1.5 seconds behind the winner in this eleven horse jump-off.
