Denis Lynch escapes bad fall without any serious injuries

Sunday, 13 May 2012

Denis was lucky to escape his bad fall without any serious injuries. Here seen in Zürich. Photo by Jenny Abrahamsson. After his win in the La Baule Derby yesterday, Denis Lynch had a dramatic fall off Night Train during their lap of honor. Denis had not fastened his helmet after the prize giving cermony, and as he fell off the helmet went in another direction than Denis causing him to hit the ground without the helmet on his head. The fall was quite bad, and Denis was picked up by an ambulance and taken to the hospital were x-rays were taken. Luckily nothing was broken, and Denis had no serious injuries apart from bruises and several swellings – as well as a scratch on his head. Under the circumstances Denis was lucky, and is doing quite well. We wish Denis a speedy recovery!
