Denis Lynch's appeal dismissed by CAS

Photo by Jenny Abrahamsson.The ad hoc Division of the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) in London heard Denis Lynch’s case Saturday evening after the Irish rider challenged Horse Sport Ireland’s decision to withdraw his nomination for the 2012 Olympic Games. The ad hoc Division of the Court of Arbitration for Sport has concluded that it has no jurisdiction to resolve the dispute, and has dismisssed the application filed by the Irish rider. This means that Cian O’Connor gets to compete in London instead of Lynch who was originally nominated together with Billy Twomey.
