Dermott Lennon and Lougview Lou Lou (Limmerick x Jack of Diamonds) took the last win at the traditional Christmas show at Olympia, and with that he ended a spectacular week. It has really paid off for Lennon in London. He won a 1.50 class Thursday – also riding Loughview Lou Lou – and took the third place in the World Cup Sunday with Hallmark Elite (Lord Byron Z x Renville).
Lennon took the win yesterday ahead of another rider with great success over the weekend – the 19 year old Manuel Anon from Spain. Aboard Rackel Chavannaise he was 0.24 seconds behind Lennon in the jump-off of the 1.60 class. Peter Charles was third riding Murkas Nevada (Rosire x Benroy).
Earlier in the day the British riders really showed off in a 1.50 class where Guy Williams, William Funnel and Ben Maher took the top three places and ruled the prize giving ceremony.
