Deusser takes yet another Master Class in Stuttgart, while Kessler is on fire to take two wins

Saturday, 16 November 2013

Daniel Deusser and Evita van de Veldbalie won yet another Master Class - here seen in Lyon. There is no stopping Daniel Deusser! Yesterday evening the German rider took home the Mercedes German Masters on his winning ride from the Equita Master in Lyon only two weeks ago – Evita van de Veldbalie (Wandor vd Mispelaere x Clinton). Deusser had one of six clear jump-off rounds, and with the fastest time of the day at 37.69 seconds he brought home a brand new Mercedes. In second came another in-form rider; Scott Brash on Ursula XII (Ahorn x Papageno), who was a little over a second behind Daniel. Ludger Beerbaum was third on Chaman (Baloubet du Rouet x I Love You) – on a time of 40.57.

The German-based rider took home the win in the biggest class on the lovely Cylana (Skippy II x Darco), beating Patrice Delaveau on Orient Express HDC (Quick Star Sf x Le Tot de Semilly) with 0.52 seconds. Third was Penelope Leprevost riding Nayana (Royal Feu x Narcos II).
