Pieter Devos won Sunday's biggest class in Mechelen. The home hero was riding Dream of India Greenfield (Gem of India x Night and Day) to the fastest clear round in the jump-off. The two of them ended the shortened track in 35,24 seconds and were slightly faster than Marlon Zanotelli on Malou (Maloubet de Pleville x Carthago) that crossed the finish line in 35,56 seconds.
Four other horse and rider combinations cleared both the first round and the jump-off. Third place went to Jur Vrieling with Flash Dance v. Kalevallei (Kashmir van Schuttershof x Gottwald) ahead of Joe Clee with Utamaro d'Ecaussines (Diamant de Semilly x Quidam de Revel), Simon Delestre with Qlassic Bois Margot (Arc de Triomphe x Galoubet) and Anne Sophie Hemeryck Godart with Vidretta m de Bellignies (Canadian River x Randel Z).
Markus Saurugg on Zita (Stakkato x Carthago) won the 1,40 m speed class on Sunday morning. Joe Clee ended second with Vedet de Muze E T (Cartani x Heartbreaker) while Guy Williams on Zaire (Indoctro x Marlon) took the third place.
The Sunday show in Mechelen ended with another home win. Niels Bruynseels took the top honours in the 1,45 m Speed & Handiness riding Domingo (Thunder van de Zuuthoeve x Brownboy). Then it was double Swedish on place two and three with Douglas Lindelöw riding Talina (Matterhorn x Heidelberg) and Henrik von Eckermann riding Crespo PKZ by Cornet Obolensky.
