Alvaro de Miranda, aka Doda, won the Credit Suisse with the fantastic AD Ashleigh Drossel Dan (Drosselklang II x Ashleigh Brigadier) after a really fast jump-off. It was a class with a lot of faults and the time allowed caused many problems. Six riders ended up with 1 time fault and among them were riders like Edwina Tops-Alexander and Ego van Orti (Vigo d'Arsouilles x Darco), Jeroen Dubbeldam on BMC Quality Time Tn (Quantum x Cantus) and Daniel Neilson with Zigali P S (Kigali x Palfreiner).
Only seven riders cleared the first round and Martin Fuchs with Karin II CH (Ishan x Natif de Signet) was first to go in the jump-off. With two oxers down he had to settle for sixth place. Next out was Pilar Lucrecia Cordon with Coriana van Klapscheut (Darco x Heartbreaker) after a really good first round. But unfortunately they got disqualified from the second round after Pilar jumped the wrong fence.
Doda put some real pressure on the rest of the field with his clear round aboard the always so fast Drossel Dan. Rolf-Göran Bengtsson and Carusso Ls La Silla (Montebello La Silla x Joost) chased the time but couldn't catch it and with one pole down he had to settle for the fourth place in the end. Birthday girl Kathi Offel with Fidji Island (For Feeling x Wanderer) got the first fence down and was a bit slower than Rolf.
Only two left - Penelope Leprevost with Nayana (Royal Feu x Narcos II) and Harrie Smolders with Emerald (Diamant de Semilly x Carthago). Penelope went all in and took over the second place. Harrie did a nice clear round with the fantastic Emerald who did his biggest class ever today - and did it so easy! The clear round was good enough for third place.
