They are always dangerous against the clock, and today was no exception: Doda de Miranda and AD Amigo B (Tadmus x Heartbreaker) pushed all competition aside in the 1.45 speed class Preis des Handwerks in Aachen. It was a case of fast, faster and fastest in the class – with Marcus Ehning taking an early lead on Comme il faut 5 (Cornet Obolensky x Ramiro), just to be pushed down one rider later as Julien Epaillard put Pigmalion du Rozel (Le Tot De Semilly) in full speed around the eleven fence track in the huge grass ring in Aachen to take over the nr. one position.
Five start numbers later, the Brazilian rider entered the ring and left no risk out as he left the breakes by the entrance on AD Amigo B – not once pulling back. When he crossed the finish line the clock showed 63.09 – a time that was 0.02 seconds faster than Epaillard's. Nobody could catch these two, closest came Belgium's Jos Verlooy on Golden Horta (Lord Z x For Pleasure ) who slotted into third over three seconds behind the winner and later Janika Sprunger on JL's Komparse (Kolibri x Kronenkranich Xx ) that pushed in between Verlooy and Ehning in fourth.
