Dubbeldam and BMC Utascha SFN have withdrawn from the Dutch team in Rome

Monday, 21 May 2012

Jeroen has decided not to take Utascha to Rome as he thinks they can work better at home after some disappointing rounds. Photo by Jenny Abrahamsson.Jeroen Dubbeldam has decided not to go to Rome this weekend with BMC Utascha SFN as planned. His decision is based on their performances at the Dutch Championship and in Hamburg last weekend. Their rounds have not been as hoped for and Dubbeldam feels they can work better at home than by riding the Nations Cup in Rome on Friday.

Due to Dubbeldam’s decision Leon Thijssen and Tyson will be travelling to Rome instead, but as reserves. The Dutch team will in addition to Thijssen include Marc Houtzager/Sterrehof’s Voltaire, Jur Vrieling/VDL Bubalu, Gerco Schröder/Eurocommerce New Orleans and Harrie Smolders/Regina Z.
