Who will win the Global Champions Tour title this year? Photo by Jenny Abrahamsson.It will be an exciting final in the 2012 Global Champions Tour. This year's title will be a battle between Edwina Tops-Alexander and Rolf-Göran Bengtsson. No other riders will be able to catch the two on the overall standing, even with a win in Abu Dhabi.

The riders can only count their results from six out of twelve legs for their total score. Both Edwina and Rolf have 196 points. Christian Ahlmann is in third position with 180 points, but even if he would win in Abu Dhabi and get 40 points the German rider would still have to discharge his results from Lausanne where he got 28 points. 

If Edwina and Rolf will have the same amount of points after the final in Abu Dhabi, Edwina will be the overall winner considering she has a win as her best result. Rolf was second three times this season, but he didn't win any of the GCT legs.

The final will take place on Saturday at 6,45 pm GST (3,45 CET).
