Emotions at the FEI World Breeding Jumping Championships in Lanaken

Wednesday, 24 September 2014

The 19 year old Bertram Allen is not a man that puts his emotions on display, but it was easy to see his relief and happiness when crossing the finish line in the jump-off aboard Barnike in the final for seven year olds repeating his gold medal from last year on the mare. All photos by Jenny Abrahamsson.

Pure happiness among Carola Wegener's supporters when she went in on second place in the final for the six year olds on Caspar Blue. Yes, you did win! Maikel van Mierlo and Earley.  Nicola Philippaerts really believes in his stallion Forever d'Arco Ter Linden that ended second in the Sires of the World.  Christian Ahlmann thanks his new horse Hui Buh for the win in the final for the six year old horses. The bronze medal winning six year old: Dacantos having a moment with his groom.  Happy team Allen! Judy-Ann Melchior gives her boyfriend Christian Ahlmann a proper congratulation on the prize giving.  The bronze medalist for the five year olds, Cool Clarimo, seemed to enjoy the attention.  On tape: This happy groom belonging to Carola Wegener and Caspar Blue filmed the entire prize giving cermony.  The seven year old silver medalist Casuality Z met his breeder at the prize giving.  A happy Louise and Ard Ginger Pop, that won silver for the fove year olds. The lovely couple Angelica Augustsson and Marlon Zanotelli, who both work at Ashford Farm, ended second and third in the five year old final. Thank you Earley! Even though Angelica has only had Ard Ginger Pop in the stable for about ten days, she has grown really fond of the mare.
