Epaillard, Allen and Deusser on top in London

Julien Epaillard. Photo by Jenny Abrahamsson.Julien Epaillard won the biggest class at Olympia on Friday, making it to the top in the five star Longines Christmas Cracker. Riding the lovely Casall-son Cristallo A LM, the French rider was one of twelve proceeding to the jump-off in this 1.55 class. Five riders produced double clear rounds, and Epaillard was the fastest one stopping the clock on 31.68 seconds.

Over two seconds behind followed home rider Ben Maher on Diva II (Kannan x Berlioz), while Jos Verlooy ended third on Domino (Thunder van de Zuuthoeve x Azur Depaulstra).

Earlier in the day Bertram Allen continued his fantastic form to land the victory in the Christmas Speed Stakes on Wild Thing L (Montreux x Lux). Over a second behind the Irish rider was Constant van Paesschen on Ralphy Utopia de Ransbeck (Ohio van de Padenborre x Darco), while third place went to Marlon Zanotelli riding Vera (Contender x Corrado II).

The 1.45 Levy Restaurants Snowman Stakes was won by Germany's Daniel Deusser who was riding Soory de l'Hallali.
